Yanginanook encourages its students to be creative by experimenting with a variety of technologies and materials to represent their ideas and understandings of themselves and the world around them. It is our aim to ensure that whilst our students develop their skills and grow their personal understandings in the appreciation and art-making processes of creative arts (visual arts and music), they also develop an understanding and acceptance of differing viewpoints and beliefs.
Students will develop knowledge, understanding and skills:
- to make artworks and creative pieces informed by their understanding of practice, the conceptual framework and the frames
- to critically and historically interpret art and music informed by their understanding of practice, the conceptual framework and the frames
